What is an Episcopalian?

piscopalians believe...
Episcopalians believe there is one living and true God of infinite power, wisdom and goodness.

God sent His Son Jesus Christ to earth to show us the way of salvation. Jesus Christ truly suffered, was killed and was buried. He arose from the dead, was resurrected and again assumed human form. He ascended into heaven. His death and resurrection offers mankind a glimpse of everlasting life. His death means salvation for all of us.

The Bible contains a complete account of His life and of the travails of early Jewish and Christian peoples. The Bible contains everything necessary for salvation.

Diversity Within the Church
The Episcopal Church is often seen as a "bridge" church between Catholics and Protestants and is part of the worldwide Anglican Communion. As such, there is a great deal of diversity within the church.
Many independent web sites offer information about Anglicans and Episcopalians. A good place to start is Anglicans Online. The web sites for the Episcopal Church and the Anglican Communion also contain a wealth of information about the church.

No matter what tangential beliefs Episcopalians hold, it is important to remember that the church starts and ends with Jesus Christ and His message of salvation for all.
