113th diocesan convention

he Diocese of Dallas will hold its 113th convention again at Southfork Ranch. The 300-acre ranch is at 700 Hogge Rd. in Parker, TX. Southfork offers a relaxing setting that is large enough to house us comfortably.

The 2008 convention will take place October 17 and 18. Convention delegates will conduct the diocese's business and elect a secretary of the convention, a trustee for the University of the South, and members of the standing committee and executive council.

They will also enjoy the hospitality and cooking of Southfork. Overnight accommodations will be available at the Southfork Hotel (1600 N. Central Expressway, Plano). Hotel rooms are $72 per night.

Exhibit space will be available for $30 – $50, each. Electricity to the space will be an additional $25. Watch for further details and registration forms in upcoming issues of Esprit.
