We bid a fond farewell to the Rev. Christianne McKee who will soon be moving to Washington state. She leaves St. Thomas’, Dallas, after many years of faithful service.
The Rev. David Petrash has accepted a call to become the Priest in Charge of Our Merciful Saviour, Kaufman. He begins his duties on Ash Wednesday. Congratulations, David and the folks at OMS.
Fr. Gene Baker will be concluding his duties at Our Merciful Saviour, Kaufman, on Shrove Tuesday.
Fr. Jim Price is retiring from William Laud, Pittsburg, effective Feb. 1.
The Rev. Diana Freeman is leaving St. Philip’s, Frisco, to accept a call as interim rector of Good Shepherd, Terrell.
Deployment
St. Anne’s, DeSoto, is still accepting names. Their first round did not result in the acceptance of a call.
Good Shepherd, Dallas, is just completing its parish profile. They are just starting to accept names.

The Rev. Kara Wischmayer is settling in Lubbock. She gave birth to twins on November 23, six weeks early — Kristine Leslie (Kris, 6.6 lbs.) and Jason William (Jake, 6.4 lbs.) Congratulations! Kara’s home address is 226 Chuck Wagon Road, Lubbock, TX 79404.
Mrs. Carolyn Henry, widow of the Rev. Charles Henry passed on to the greater life January 19. May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
Fr. Ronald Carr fell Jan. 29, fracturing his neck in three places. Doctors thought he might have had a stroke. He passed away Jan. 26, and the funeral was held March 2 at Our Saviour, Dallas, with interment at the national cemetery.
